Overview

Welcome to the NVVH Laboratory Services, where we combine years of experience in lab work with a track record of successful publications in the field. Our expertise, especially in antibiotic resistance testing, sets us apart as a leader in diagnostic testing.

But our state-of-the-art lab also offers a wide range of diagnostic tests in parasitology, bacteriology, biochemistry, hematology, serology, and histopathology. We are proud to offer PCR testing, a cutting-edge molecular technique that allows for highly sensitive and specific detection of pathogens.

At NVVH, our lab is equipped with modern technology and equipment to ensure accurate and timely results. We are dedicated to staying at the forefront of veterinary diagnostics and regularly undergo training by professionals from the University of Veterinary Science Vienna, Austria.

We process various sample types, including blood, serum, plasma, urine, feces, biologic fluid, skin scrapings, slides, biopsies, and necropsy samples.

Committed to One Health Initiatives, NVVH lab offers services to diagnose the most common zoonotic diseases in Rwanda. Additionally, we extend our care to wildlife by providing technical support to wildlife veterinary services and research efforts.
