Advanced diagnostics with experience, precision and research value.

We offer a wide range of testing in parasitology, bacteriology, biochemistry, hematology, serology and histopathology, alongside PCR testing for highly sensitive and specific pathogen detection. Samples processed include blood, serum, plasma, urine, feces, biologic fluid, skin scrapings, slides, biopsies and necropsy samples.
The laboratory also supports One Health initiatives by helping diagnose common zoonotic diseases in Rwanda and by extending technical support to wildlife veterinary services and research efforts.

NVVH Musanze continues to play an active role in animal-health awareness and multi-stakeholder collaboration. The campaign below reflects the branch’s contribution to public health, education and responsible dog ownership.

The campaign will officially be launched on World Rabies Day, 28th September 2026, in Musanze District, Kinigi Sector, Bisate Cell. The joint effort aims to help register owned dogs and strengthen public understanding of ownership responsibilities.
